I Know A Guy HVAC is a locally owned, family-run heating and cooling company in South Salt Lake. We started in 2015 so our neighbors would always have a guy they could call.
Our story
A Salt Lake Valley kid who became your HVAC guy
I grew up right here in the Salt Lake Valley. I know the January inversions that sit on the valley for a week, the first cold snap that has every furnace in town firing at once, and the July afternoons when the AC can't come on fast enough. I also know the houses: 1950s bungalows with old ductwork, split-levels with a basement that never warms up, and newer builds on the benches that swing hard between hot and cold.
In 2015 I started I Know A Guy HVAC with one idea. Everybody deserves to have a guy they trust, someone local who answers the phone, shows up when he says he will, and tells you straight whether to repair it or replace it.
Today I'm raising my own family in the same valley I grew up in. That's why we run this business the way we do. The people we work for are our neighbors, our kids' friends' parents, and the folks we see at the store. We want every one of them to feel good about calling us again.

If a repair makes sense, we'll say so. If replacement is the better buy, we'll show you why and give you a free estimate.
Local and accountable
Our shop is on Billinis Road in South Salt Lake. We're not a call center, and we'll be here next year when you need us again.
